We met the builder at the house on Wednesday, along with the guy that's doing the Geothermal Heating System and the Septic tank/field, the guy that's doing the heat ducting, and the guy that's building our stairs. It was strange to have so many people there looking at the house and taking measurements and such.
The inside of the house looks great now, because all the support 2x4's and 2x6's are taken down, so we have a clear view of everything. It's amazing how open everything seems now, with those no longer blocking the view. They've finished the roof over the porch, and on Thursday they will be installing the windows.
We asked a few questions while we were there, and asked Lyle for his opinion on the red stucco versus the buttercream stucco. He told us right away that any dark stucco would bleed, and it would run. So that eliminates the red stucco. Now we have to decide whether we like the buttercream or if we want to try a different colour of stucco.
Here's some pictures of the house from Wednesday night, and a few of Kohen from when we went mini-golfing that night.
