Well...
Finally, we have a well. It finally stopped raining and dried up enough for Perimeter Drilling to get out to the house to dig the well...only to make it wet so that no one can drive around that way for a while. Luckily no one will have to drive that way. Now we're just waiting for Don to get the septic tank and field put in, as well as the excavating for the geothermal...he was supposed to be there on Monday to do it...but he didn't get there for some reason. At least the well is done.

My Grandma, Mom & Dad met us at the house after supper. This was Grandma's first time seeing the house. The last time she was out, it was just a piece of land. Here she is yawning...apparently the house bored her...or maybe she's yelling at me...but I wasn't wearing a referee's jacket...so it must be a yawn...(Those who know my Grandma will understand):

We're also having foam insulation sprayed in (if you ever watch Holmes on Homes, he uses it quite a bit). I'm thinking that we forget about the paint on the inside, and just spray this insulation stuff around...no?

Hydro must have come out as well, because the crooked pole that used to be at the end of the driveway is now gone...the funny thing is, we didn't notice it when we drove by, and only noticed it when we were standing out on the porch.

Are the toilets in yet?

Nope, no toilets yet...although there is a bucket outside that has your name on it...and Steve's name on it as well.
