Lyle must have pretty good tradesmen, because they were working all weekend. My mom and dad went to the house on Sunday and told us that the basement stairs were put in. Being there. We went to the house on Monday afternoon to meet Lyle the Builder, Lyle the Cabinet Guy, and Mark the Electrician and saw the basement stairs. They look pretty good! Too bad the rest of the basement is a mess. Oh well, that will get cleaned up with time.
Here's some pictures of the basement stairs, and a picture of where the kitchen island will be. Oh, and the roof is completely shingled now, so there's a few pictures of that too.

Wow, I thought at first that you picked different coloured shingles for the peak of the house and the peak of the garage. Didn't realize (until squinting for a few minutes) that it was just the sun.
