Saturday, In The Park - I Think It Was September 18th

In keeping with tradition, this year, we went for our annual walk in the park at BHP. And again, we took pictures of ourselves, and of this kid I know, Jose.

Here are a few of the pictures:

This picture was taken to prove that we
actually DID go for a walk (above).

Moe said that we looked like we were trying to
sell sweaters or something for Sears (above).

Showing off "our" pregnant bellies...and unless someone
is keeping a good secret, I'm the only one that's pregnant:

Kristy told us to look mad in these pictures (below). I didn't succeed until the third picture, where apparently Jose is giving Kristy the finger.

We thought we'd be able to crop Kristy's "mad" picture (below) and
photoshop it into the one above, but then we realized that she'd look like a giant!

No, Kristy isn't giving Jose the finger...I think she was giving it to us three (not pictured).

I think Kristy (below - hiding her hands) realized that
three kids - standing just a bit beyond Evelyn, Amanda, and I -
thought she was giving THEM the finger...

Not sure...clueless?:

Moe captioned this one as "Opportunity Knocks":

I captioned this one "Knocked Up" (me at 22 weeks):

Just some kid I know...

Just some door I know:

And Then There Were None...

...left to finish.

I finished all of the Mr. Men & Little Miss characters on Sunday night. And was I glad to be done! I was thinking about stenciling their names underneath or overtop of the characters, but I think that would take away from the characters too much. I think that I'll use a sharpie and write in small writing underneath them which ones they are. That will be much easier than using stencils and painting the letters...

Now I can clean up the room and put more crap in it...One of the things that I have to put back into the room is a book shelf, which is going to cover up probably 5 or 6 of the characters, but at least this way if we ever move the bookshelf out of there, there won't be a blank spot where the shelf was. I'll just have to purge some of my many books...We all know that THAT won't happen.

Here are pictures of the 4 walls in their completed state:

Almost Done...

I have now finished all of the painting of the colours of the Mr. Men & Little Miss characters, and now just have to do the outlining of them. I have one wall completely done, so that's 13 out of 50...and then there are a few others that are completed, so I probably have about 22 done, so 28 left to go. You wouldn't think that an outline would make that much of a difference, but let me tell you (and show you), it does. See for yourself:
