Well, the title says it all. The guys were supposed to be out on Monday or Tuesday to pour the basement, but they didn't show up, so we thought that maybe they would be out on Wednesday to do it...but no. Oh well. Hopefully it will be done sometime this week.
We went out to the house late on Wednesday night, because we had some car troubles...go figure. You make the last payment on a vehicle, and stuff starts to break down. We couldn't see anything, really, since it was 8:30 when we got out there. We were using a huge flashlight at first to look around, but then that died, so we were looking at things from the light of the camera flash. Earlier that day we had picked up the iron spindles for our cat-walk railing and stair railing, so we dropped that off Wednesday night when we went out there.
Glen the Finisher had cut the pieces for our pillars that are on the half-walls separating the kitchen from the livingroom, and a couple of other little things that I couldn't really notice in the dark. Here's a few pictures:
