We went to the house on Monday night, and nothing worth taking pictures of was done. The finishers did a bit more work, but there was still no basement poured and no garage pad poured.
Tuesday night when we got to the house, there was a bit more work done. The finishers had put the bathroom door and casing up on the main floor, and had done a bit of work in the closet in the master bedroom. Hopefully in the next few days they get more of the doors & casings up. At least that is moving along...but there's still NO BASEMENT FLOOR AND NO GARAGE PAD!! It's so FRUSTRATING...we can put the heat in until the basement floor is poured. We can't bring the hardwood flooring in to sit for a week to adjust to the temperature of the house and all that jazz until the heat is in. We have scheduled Don the Geothermal guy to go and install the heating system on Monday the 24th, and have scheduled the electricians to go into the house on Tuesday the 25th to hook up the heat. which means that the earliest we can bring the hardwood into the house is the Wednesday, which means that the earliest that we can start to install the hardwood floors is the 26th of September...and then we have to get the floors refinished! lol...I don't think that we're going to be in the house until closer to the end of October now. Trick or HOUSE!!!
