Wow, I'm finding it hard to believe that it is August already. Where has the time gone?
When we went to the house on Wednesday after work, and again, no drywall work done...it could be because Hydro won't be out there for about 2 weeks to hook anything up...so they have to install the drywall using a generator...and we all know what the price of gas is...

There were more bulk heads built on Wednesday, but this time in the diningroom, and all the way around the diningroom. We're now trying to decide if we should have the pillars in the diningroom or not. The ceiling was lowered about 6 inches, so we would only have about a 4 1/2 foot pillar, instead of a 5 foot pillar. We're definitely still going with the pillars in the livingroom, we just don't know now about the diningroom now.
Here's the diningroom with the bulk head. We can't decide whether we should just leave the half walls there and not put a pillar, because the bulk head adds another level for the eye to look at, and we're afraid that the pillars would be too much.
Here's the livingroom (looking from the kitchen into the livingroom) where the pillars will be (where those silver pipes are).
And here is the kitchen, looking in from the livingroom. Again, the pillars will be where the silver pipes are.
They also installed the rubber/vinyl/"whatever material it is" in the bottom of the shower in the upstairs bathroom so that the concrete/cement/"whatever material goes down" can be put down before Kris gets to start tiling...That will be the next decision...what colour/style of tiles to go with in the bathroom. Decisions, decisions.
